Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP — Windovers

It makes no pretence of anything. This 20/25 wears its age with pride, boasting an authentic patina — the sort you simply can’t replicate in a workshop. Built by Windovers, one of London’s leading names from the interwar period — not a mass-production coachbuilder, but a true craftsman.

Under the bonnet lies the classic 3.7-litre Rolls-Royce six-cylinder engine: smooth, indestructible, built to cruise at a leisurely pace yet never falter. The very essence of pre-war British grand touring.

This was the era when elegant England left London to head for St Moritz, back when these legendary destinations were just emerging. Cars designed for just that: to cross Europe in style, without ever compromising on comfort. This 20/25 was built for the journey, not to be left gathering dust under a cover.

A piece of history, ready for its next adventure.

Maintenance carried out:

From the collection of an enthusiast who no longer uses it, this 20/25 with bodywork by Windovers was restored several years ago. Time has left a few imperfections, but overall it remains in good condition. Veteran vehicle inspection passed in July 2024.

A beautiful car, full of character.

Maintenance required:

Nothing structural; it deserves to remain as it is. A service would do it good, but only routine maintenance is required.
