Much sharper and more track-oriented than the classic Megane RS, the Trophy R is distinguished by its competition-derived equipment: Recaro bucket seats (pole position), Öhlins adjustable suspension with exclusive composite springs, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, 19” Turini wheels, and a weight reduction of over 100 kg thanks to the use of lighter materials, the elimination of soundproofing and rear bench seats, as well as its specific decoration.

The Trophy R offers everything a driving enthusiast could wish for, making it as enjoyable on the road as it is on the racetrack. When it came out, this Megane caused quite a stir by becoming the world's fastest front-wheel drive on the Nürburgring circuit. As Switzerland did not receive a Trophy R, this would be the only model registered in our country. With Renault Sport having definitively ceased all activity, this is a great opportunity to acquire a piece of French sports car history, offering a pure driving experience without the frills of modern cars. History

First registered in June 2015 and with just 14,300 km on the odometer, this first-hand car was imported from Japan in 2023 (a service was carried out prior to import). It has been meticulously maintained. The protections fitted to the door panels, the condition of the leather on the lumbars and the original plastics on the pedals testify to its excellent condition. A history report also shows that the vehicle has never been involved in an accident.

Vehicle condition

The car has just passed the technical inspection without the slightest defect. A full service will be carried out for the sale, including timing, engine, gearbox, axle and cooling oil changes, as well as spark plugs and brake bleeding.
