A 3.0L V6 in a central rear position, 230hp, an aggressive design, this little bomb is one of the most emblematic sports cars in French automotive history. Produced in less than 3,000 examples in both phases, it's a true collector's item.
We offer for sale this 2002 Renault Clio V6, a unique example with such low mileage. This car, owned by the same owner for almost 20 years, is in perfect condition and has just come out of a major service. This magnificent Clio V6 is entirely in its original condition. It benefits from all its original documents, including a full service booklet. It has been appraised and is ready to hit the road!
The car was first registered in Zurich. Its current owner bought it in 2006 in German-speaking Switzerland. It has always been kept indoors, and has covered very few kilometers during its ownership.
The car benefited from a major overhaul in a Renault-approved garage with original parts in September 2023, including:
Since the service, the car has covered less than 1000 kilometers.
Exterior: The bodywork is in excellent condition, with no particular scratches. The bottom of the front bumper, being close to the ground, shows some rubbing.

The dashboard and buttons show no signs of wear, and look as good as new, as do the seats! The roof lining shows no signs of wear. The interior plastics are as good as new.
Mechanics: Mechanically, the car has always been well maintained and kept inside. There are no leaks. The car shows no significant rust or mechanical wear. Everything that needs to be done in terms of maintenance has been done.
The condition of the vehicle can be seen on the photos in the gallery below.
It has the original Clio V6 rims (OZ Superturismo Renault/OZ). On the photos, one of the wheel center logos is missing, and will be replaced for sale.

The Renault Clio V6, heir to the Renault Turbo 5, is a model out of the ordinary. Axel Breun, a designer at Renault, inspired this daring project. Initially, he envisaged equipping a Twingo with the chassis and mechanics of a Ferrari 308. His sketches drew the attention of Patrick Le Quément, Renault's Design Director, and the idea was realized, but with the Clio II.
Presented as a prototype at the 1998 Paris Motor Show, the Clio V6 was based on the Clio II, with enlarged bodywork and a 230 hp V6 engine in a central rear position. In 1999, the Clio Trophy was launched as a touring version with a 285 hp engine. The final version was presented at the 2000 Paris Motor Show and assembled by TWR in Sweden.
In 2003, the Clio V6 was restyled and production moved back to Dieppe. Produced until 2005, around 1,600 units of phase 1 were sold, and almost as many of phase 2. This unique experience was not repeated for the Clio III, but the Clio V6 will remain a symbol of innovation and performance at Renault.
