770kg, a sporty and lively engine with a raging sound, revs up to 8 500 rpm with a roar that suggests a larger displacement than its 791 cc, this Honda s800 Phase 1, maintained and driven by the same owner for 28 years, in its original juice, is in perfect working order.
The vehicle has some slight rust spots (to be found in the pictures).

Specialized in motorcycles since 1947, Honda also turned to the automobile in 1960, with a commitment to automobile competition, notably in Formula 1, without achieving any real success.
In 1966, Honda presents in France the S800 declined in coupe and convertible versions, directly derived from the S500 and S600 already known in Japan.
This coupe version evokes a Mini Jaguar Type E (the shapes, the bump on the hood). This one is also called "the little Ferrari" by journalists during its presentation to the press in 1966.
Nicknamed "la Puce", its sporty engine had an exceptional output which offered performances similar to those of a 1300-1500 cc engine allowing it to compete with the R8 Gordini.
