Volkswagen T1 1964

This Volkswagen T1 is a meticulously restored collector's vehicle from Brazil. The current owner oversaw the restoration and import. It was registered in Brazil as a collector's vehicle.

During the restoration carried out in Brazil in 2020, the Volkswagen T1 was painted in the authentic VW colour, Mystic Green L1312, which was specific to models from 1973 onwards. The roof was also painted green, in line with the owner's preferences.

The vehicle's chassis was treated during the restoration and is in excellent condition. The engine and gearbox are original and were overhauled during the restoration. Every part used in the restoration is original.

After being restored, this T1 was imported to Switzerland and taken to a garage in order to comply with Swiss standards. The appraisal was carried out on 22 April 2022, confirming the quality of the vehicle and attesting to its compliance with current requirements.

Apart from a slight dent in the rear side door, which is only visible to the discerning eye, and the non-functioning fuel gauge, the vehicle is in generally good condition.
