A Youngtimer not to be missed?

Discover sportiness à la française with this Peugeot 306 XSI, a real nugget with 59,000 km on the clock. The little sister of the GTI, offering respectable performance thanks to its 123hp 2.0 L engine, it's a real rarity given its low mileage. If you're looking for an authentic driving experience tinged with 90s nostalgia, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

In true James Bond style, you need to enter the right code to start the car!

History:

Acquired new from a dealership in the canton of Neuchâtel by its first owner, this Peugeot is the perfect example of a carefully maintained and preserved vehicle. In 2023, it changed hands to a second owner who, after having performed a great deal of service, now wishes to sell it for lack of space.

Recent revisions:**

A major service was carried out in September 2023, including :

  • Spark plug replacement
  • Distribution
  • Water pump
  • Replacement of all fluids
  • Replacement of all filters
  • Oil changes

Details:

  • The car is fitted with original Alu wheels in perfect condition for the summer wheels (new Continental tires), and steel wheels with new Good-year winter tires. It also features a multi-CD player in the trunk.

Vehicle condition:**

Externally, it proudly displays its red color, preserved from the ravages of time. It is in very good condition, free from corrosion. There are just a few minor scratches and dents, notably on the rear bumper, where there's a small scratch, and on the underside of the tailgate (these can be seen in the photos in the ad).

Inside, everything is in impeccable condition. The meticulous care taken in its upkeep is evident in every detail, from the seats to the dashboard. Its low mileage is a real asset! The interior is flawless.

Mechanically speaking, it's beyond reproach. With its modest mileage and regular maintenance, this Peugeot 306 XSI is ready to offer many years of worry-free driving pleasure.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to acquire an upmarket youngtimer, combining sportiness, performance and the iconic history of the Lion marque.

Model history

The Peugeot 306, launched in the early 1990s, was designed to succeed the 309. Its elegant silhouette and dynamic performance quickly earned it a special place in the hearts of the European public. The 306 XSI variant, equipped with a 2.0-litre engine developing up to 135 bhp, was a particular hit with sports car enthusiasts. Although the GTI is the sportiest variant, the XSI offered a good balance between performance, comfort and accessibility.

A memorable anecdote is Peugeot UK's partnership with British pop star M People in 1994. Singer Heather Small drove a 306 cabriolet in the "Renaissance" video, boosting the 306's trendy image in the UK.

This collaboration between Peugeot and 90s pop culture made the 306 XSI a veritable icon, evoking an era when driving was synonymous with passion and pleasure.
