History :
Ordered at the end of 2007, this 2009 Shelby GT500 was imported new into Switzerland at the end of 2008. First-hand, it has been pampered to the present day, with meticulous and faultless maintenance and follow-up. A file containing invoices and the vehicle's history is available on request.
Numerous modifications have been made to the car, bringing the engine up to around 650 hp.
Its condition and low mileage make this car a rare gem on the market not to be missed!

Maintenance :
The car has been serviced at Pittstop and Rebellion Motor garages, all invoices are available on request. Last serviced in 2021 for expert appraisal.

- Complete black paintwork with grey stripes and no stickers.
Vehicle condition
On the body, there are minor scratches on the front hood and a few discreet marks on the front chromes left by pebbles. Apart from this, the exterior is in very good condition. The wheels are shiny and flawless.
Inside, every element, from the seats to the dashboard, has been carefully preserved, with the exception of a few superficial scratches on the door sill.
As for the mechanics, there's no trace of rust under the car. When you open the hood, the engine is clean, with no seepage or leaks. No action is required on the car other than driving it!

History of the model
Carroll Shelby, a name that resonates throughout the automotive world, was originally a successful racing driver before becoming a legendary car designer. After winning the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1959, he created the legendary Shelby Cobra, combining a lightweight British chassis with a powerful American V8 engine. His collaboration with Ford gave birth to the Shelby GT350 and GT500 Mustangs in the 1960s, models that became icons of the American muscle car.
In 2007, Ford relaunched the Shelby GT500 as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the original 1968 GT500. The rebirth aimed to capture the spirit of the original while incorporating modern technological advances. The GT500 of that era was a nod to the past, yet a modern racing beast, symbolizing Shelby's eternal passion for performance and innovation.
It is aesthetically distinct from other Mustangs thanks to its unique front end, which has not been reproduced for the base models, as is the case for the current generation of Mustangs. Apart from a few cobra logos and leather seats that differ slightly from those of the Mustang GT, the Shelby GT500 offers a cabin virtually identical to that of its smaller siblings. However, it's under the hood that the difference is clearest.
