This Fiat 500 was acquired in 2017 in the south of Italy from an elderly person. Although she had kept and pampered it, it benefited from extensive work carried out by a specialist garage on site to make it sublime. Once imported into Switzerland, the car was checked and serviced by a specialist garage. Despite the current owner's attachment to this marvel, it is now for sale, as he does not have the opportunity to drive it as much as he would like.

The Fiat 500, also known as the "Nuova 500", was launched in 1957. Conceived as the successor to the Fiat Topolino, its mission was to provide post-war Italians with an affordable mobility solution. Small but sturdy, it was powered by a small 479 cm³ engine that delivered just 13 bhp, enough to carry families on their daily journeys.
In the 1960s, a sporty version of the Fiat 500 was created in collaboration with Carlo Abarth. This was the Fiat 500 Abarth which, despite its meagre 26 bhp, was considered a little bomb thanks to its lightness. This car became legendary in motor sport circles for winning numerous races in its category, often challenging much more powerful cars.
The Italian government declared the Fiat 500 to be part of Italy's National Heritage, alongside the famous Ferrari 250 GTO.
