This charming 1971 Fiat 500L is now for sale, adorned in a superb colour combination of blue for the exterior and red for the interior. It's in near-perfect condition and has a veteran's certificate still valid for 2 years. Known and loved by all, this iconic model continues to fascinate connoisseurs and non connoisseurs alike.
Brought from Rome in Italy to Switzerland a few years ago, it was restored in Switzerland by one of its former owners. Its current owner acquired it in 2019. Due to a lack of time, it has not been driven much. Since its acquisition, the current owners have replaced the seats and ignition coils.
The exterior of the car is immaculate, with no visible impact to the bodywork and bright, intact chrome, as are the wheels. The soft top is as good as new.
Inside, the door panels and dashboard are in perfect condition. The seats, recently replaced, are new and free of any wear, as is the roof lining. Only the carpets show very slight wear.
Mechanically, this Fiat 500L is beyond reproach. There are no leaks, it starts as soon as you turn it and runs perfectly.
The original Italian documents and the FIVA licence are supplied with the vehicle (the latter is no longer valid and must be renewed each time there is a change of ownership).

The Fiat 500, also known as the "Nuova 500", was launched in 1957. Conceived as the successor to the Fiat Topolino, its mission was to offer post-war Italians an affordable mobility solution. Small but sturdy, it was powered by a small 479 cm³ engine that delivered just 13 bhp, enough to carry families on their daily journeys.
In the 1960s, a sporty version of the Fiat 500 was created in collaboration with Carlo Abarth. This was the Fiat 500 Abarth which, despite its meagre 26 bhp, was considered a little bomb thanks to its lightness. This car became legendary in motor sport circles for winning numerous races in its category, often challenging much more powerful cars.
The Italian government declared the Fiat 500 to be part of Italy's National Heritage, alongside the famous Ferrari 250 GTO.
