With a 6-cylinder, 3.0-litre engine, 148 bhp and 220 Nm of torque, the splendid Austin Healey 3000 MKIII represents the English sportiness of the era, a model sought after among the best! This model is entirely original. Its original seats have never been changed and are in very good condition.
This 1967 version was the last to be made, and is the best because it is the most improved!
Imported into Switzerland in 1989, this Austin Healey has had just one owner since its arrival. The car was fully restored in the United States before it was purchased, and its Swiss owner took great care to keep it in very good condition, only taking it out in good weather and keeping it as rust-free as possible!
The exterior of the car has a brilliant paint finish, the chrome shines perfectly and the spoke rims are in excellent condition. The soft top is almost new, having been replaced in Switzerland. There are a few minor imperfections, notably on the bonnet and bumper, as well as a spot of rust under the paintwork on the driver's side sill (visible in the photos).
Inside, the original seats are in very good condition, as is the rest of the cabin. The carpets were replaced in Switzerland and are in very good condition. The original steering wheel has been replaced by the same one in better condition.
Mechanically, the car starts at the touch of a key and runs perfectly well. The vehicle has always been serviced by a specialist in Lausanne. Nothing to worry about except enjoy!
